Manuscript Guidelines

Title Page

  • The title page is a critical component of your submission. It must include the full title of your manuscript, which should be clear, concise, and accurately reflect the content of the study. Additionally, list all authors’ full names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs (if applicable). The corresponding author must be clearly indicated, with complete contact details provided, including email and phone number. Any omission or inaccuracy at this stage could delay the review process.

Abstract

  • The abstract is a vital summary of your research, designed to give readers a quick overview of your study’s objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. It must be meticulously crafted to convey the essence of your research within the strict limit of 400 words. The abstract should be clear, compelling, and free of jargon, ensuring it can stand alone and still provide a complete picture of the study. Adherence to the word limit and inclusion of all essential elements are non-negotiable.

Keywords

  • Selecting the right keywords is crucial for the discoverability of your manuscript. Authors must choose 3-6 keywords that precisely reflect the main topics of the study. These keywords must be relevant, specific, and aligned with the terminology used in your field. Careful selection of keywords will enhance the visibility of your research in search engines and databases. Failure to provide accurate keywords may hinder the manuscript’s accessibility to the intended audience.

Introduction

  • The introduction must clearly establish the context and rationale for your research. It should begin with a comprehensive background of the topic, followed by a precise statement of the research problem. The introduction must also articulate the study’s objectives and the significance of the research, positioning your work within the broader field. It’s essential to demonstrate the relevance and novelty of your study. The introduction should be focused, logically structured, and avoid unnecessary details. We expect a compelling narrative that justifies the importance of the research.

Methodology

  • The methodology section is where you must detail the design and execution of your research. This includes the description of the study design, participant selection, data collection methods, and analytical techniques. Precision is paramount—every step of your methodology must be described with enough detail to allow for reproducibility. Any tools, software, or statistical methods used should be clearly identified. Ethical considerations must also be addressed. This section is scrutinized for accuracy and thoroughness, so any ambiguity or omission may result in delays.

Results

  • In the results section, you must present your findings in a clear and logical manner, using tables, figures, and statistical analyses where appropriate. It is essential that your results are reported objectively, without interpretation—this will occur in the Discussion section. All data presented must be relevant to the research questions posed and should be clearly labeled and easily interpretable. We require that all figures and tables be of high quality, with precise captions and in accordance with our formatting guidelines. Any discrepancies or inconsistencies will be closely examined.

Discussion

  • The discussion section is where you interpret the results of your study, linking them back to your research objectives and the existing literature. This section should offer insights into the implications of your findings, discuss the limitations of your study, and propose avenues for future research. A rigorous and balanced discussion is expected—one that acknowledges both the strengths and potential weaknesses of your research. It is crucial that your discussion is thoughtful, critical, and contributes meaningfully to the field.

Conclusion

  • The conclusion must succinctly summarize the key findings of your research, reiterating the importance and implications of your study. It should provide a clear and concise take-home message that highlights the contribution of your work to the field. The conclusion should not introduce new information but should instead reinforce the significance of the results. We expect a strong, well-articulated conclusion that leaves a lasting impression on the reader.

Disclosures and Ethical Considerations

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must clearly disclose any potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise, that could influence the research or its interpretation. This ensures transparency and maintains the integrity of the publication.
  • Funding Statement: A detailed description of all sources of funding for the research must be provided. Authors should also disclose the role of the funding body in the design, execution, and reporting of the study, if applicable.
  • Ethical Approval: If the research involves human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors must include a statement confirming that the study was approved by an appropriate ethics committee. The approval number and date should be cited. For studies involving human participants, authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants.
  • Data Availability Statement: Authors should include a statement on the availability of data supporting the results of the study. If data cannot be shared, this must be justified. Open access to data is encouraged to promote transparency and reproducibility.
  • Author Contributions: Clearly specify the individual contributions of each author to the study, such as conceptualization, data collection, analysis, writing, and revision. This ensures proper attribution and accountability.
  • Acknowledgments: Any individuals or organizations that contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged. This includes technical support, writing assistance, and other contributions.
  • Plagiarism and Originality: Authors must affirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in the rejection of the manuscript.
  • Compliance with Reporting Standards: Authors should ensure that their manuscript complies with relevant reporting guidelines (e.g., CONSORT, PRISMA) to enhance the quality and transparency of their research.

References

  • The references section must include a comprehensive and accurate list of all sources cited in your manuscript. Authors are required to follow the journal’s specific citation style without deviation. All references should be thoroughly checked for accuracy, including authors’ names, journal titles, volume and issue numbers, page ranges, and DOI numbers. Misreferences or incomplete citations will be flagged and must be corrected before proceeding. We take the integrity of citations very seriously as it reflects on the credibility of your work.

Supplementary Material

  • Any supplementary material submitted with the manuscript must be directly relevant to the study and enhance the overall understanding of the research. This could include additional data sets, multimedia files, or appendices. All supplementary materials must be clearly labeled and referenced in the main manuscript. They should be submitted in formats that ensure accessibility and ease of use. We expect high standards for supplementary materials, as they form an integral part of the scholarly record.
